The 11 Hour Shift

Yesterday I worked an 11 hour shift and amazingly wasn't actually that tired at the end of it, admittedly, I'd had enough though. I'm settling in at my new job brilliantly!

As I haven't even blogged about this at all I'm going to start at the beginning i think. I got a job for the first time at a local hotel along with two other people. Its basically a waiter job with a few extra things in it and it's easy stuff. I'm getting to know all the current staff quite well, although i know its going to take time before I'm real good mates with them.

CHRISTINA

Good god, leave me alone bitch! If you read this then wow you really are my personal stalker. Christina is one of the others who have been set on to work there at the same time as me. At first i thought "hey she's alright , i think were going to get on". Then i noticed slowly how annoying she is. She laughs at everything, anyone says. You can't say one word in earshot of her without her giggling. Weather or not it's her conversation she laughs. She laughs at everything you do to.

*Matt picks up plate*
Christina: "hahahahahahahhahahh"
*PUNCH*

Moving on..

She has my mobile number and seems to be happy giving it out without my permission. She keeps ringing and texting me. I didn't have my phone and came back to 6 missed calls and 2 texts from her which is really creepy. Here's a basic transcript of the conversation

"hey do you wanna come out on Sunday with me?"
"err... I'm busy i think"
"How about Monday?... Tuesday?.Wednesday,Thursday?"

She just wont leave me the hell alone!

Getting to the point...

I worked an 11 hour shift yesterday which is really gonna have a nice impact on my pay check when it arrives next Friday. I worked out that I'm going to get something between 60-80 quid. Not bad for a few days work i think.

Elliot and Danny are really good mates and that's who i was working with yesterday most of the day so its a little awkward as they don't know me very well and i don't know them and they're like best mates but they're good and trying to get to know me and I'm happy about how everythings going with making new friends there. Theres a lot of people that work there so I'm seeing new faces all the time.

The good thing about working there is if your working after the last bus has gone they book you a taxi home free of charge which is how i got home last night after 1am!

Overall I'm really loving this job and can't wait to get paid. Shopping spree? YES PLEASE!
